Our wintery hot tea recipe with a splash of rum is the perfect night cap for the cooler months!
The perfect blend for this is our delicious, warming Coco Choco blend, which feels like a real treat thanks to ingredients such as cocoa husks from Arusha, Tanzania, coconut flakes from Zanzibar, and orthodox black tea from the Kilimanjaro region.
The recipe is quite simple, but it tastes delicious.
Here’s how to make it:
– Use one Kazi Yetu Coco Choco tea bag or teaspoon of loose leaf tea per cup. Steep it longer than usual, so you have the strong flavor of the tea.
– Add a dash of coconut milk.
– Add a shot of rum
– And a spoonful of honey to sweeten.

Our rum of choice is by Brigantes. We love that all of their products are sailed on historical sail cargo vessels!
